The Colonial Bank of the New World (or CBNW) is a wizarding bank in the American Wizarding Confederation, with branches in the Goblin Market of Chicago and New Roanoke.
The Bank offers an Owl Banking Service, which Alexandra Quick used in the Summer of 2009 to exchange Muggle currency for wizarding money.
Unlike Gringotts, CBNW is not run by goblins. James Dearborn serves as the "Central Territory Director" of the Bank, and a "life-sized portrait" of him hangs in the lobby of the Goblin Market branch.
In December 2010, Abraham Thorn opened an account for his youngest daughter "as an advance on [her] inheritance." She later visited the Goblin Market branch to withdraw money.
