During or just prior to the Fall of 2009, Darla Dearborn surreptitiously aquired a mistletoe wand (possibly from or through John Manuelito) when her first wand was fitted with a Wand Collar and her access to it was considerably limited.
Dearborn used the mistletoe wand for a variety of Dark purposes including: bewitching the familiar of a fellow student in order to control the girl, cursing another fellow student as well as another student's familiar, and attempting the Killing Curse for a second time on Alexandra Quick.
